Simmi Bhullar, Master Crochet  Artist

I was working as a teacher. Once I quit the job, I wanted to do something creative which would not only keep me busy but also help me relax. My son took up Crocheting as a hobby, and it gave me immense pleasure seeing him create lovely toys.

I had the opportunity to travel abroad to spent some time with my daughter. My daughter, who is an avid reader, would take me to the library with her. There, Icame across books on Crocheting, and it opened a pathway to my creative side.

Crocheting has taken me into a colourful world of designs, patterns, and outlines. It helps me relax, lowers stress, boosts my mood and has given strength to my hands. New designs and patters keep my brain sharp. I have joined Crocheting groups and become part of the Crocheting community, where I have made new friends, and I get to learn new designs and patterns which is both challenging and inspiring.

Bharat Tex 2026, the largest global textile eventorganized by the Ministry of Textiles', Government of India at Bharat Mandapam, with the Theme "Textiles, Fashion, Sustainability," has given a platform to creative persons like us to showcase our talent and products. It will surely encourage and givean impetus to art and craft in the country.

Anu GuptaMaster Crochet  Artist

A crochet artist who holds a Bachelor's degree with Honours from the University of Delhi. What began as a hobby two years ago has grown into a meaningful creative journey and a true passion. Crochet has helped me relieve stress, improve my focus, and express my creativity through handcrafted designs.
Over the past two years, I have created a variety of customized crochet pieces, including wedding jai-malas, bouquets, potli purses, keychains, and thoughtful gifts, each made with care and attention to detail. I believe every handmade creation tells a unique story and carries a personal touch that makes it truly special.
Joining the Briatoshs Crochet Community introduced me to a wonderful community of talented crocheters. Sharing ideas, learning new techniques, and exploring different types of yarn has enriched my skills and inspired me to keep creating. Through this website, I hope my handmade creations bring warmth, happiness, and lasting memories—one stitch at a time.
